Malware Removal, Firewalls & Website Security Hardening

Full security audit, malware removal, firewall setup, and hardening to protect your site from attacks, infections, and blacklisting.

A compromised website is not just an embarrassment — it can result in your domain being blacklisted by Google, your hosting account suspended, and your visitors served malware. This service delivers a complete security response: malware identification and removal, firewall implementation, and hardening measures to prevent reinfection.

The engagement begins with a full security audit: file integrity checks against known-good versions, server log analysis for suspicious request patterns, database scan for injected scripts, and a check against Google Safe Browsing, Sucuri SiteCheck, and VirusTotal blocklists. Any malware, backdoors, or injected code found is documented, quarantined, and removed.

Firewall and hardening steps are then applied to your specific server and CMS setup. For WordPress sites this includes: plugin vulnerability patching, admin URL hardening, file permission corrections, wp-config.php lockdown, XML-RPC disabling, and fail2ban or WAF rules for brute-force protection. For custom PHP or Apache/Nginx setups, server-level rules are applied directly.

If your site has been blacklisted by Google, a Search Console reinclusion request or Safe Browsing removal request is submitted after clean-up, and recovery from deindexing is monitored.

Deliverables: a security audit report, a list of all malware found and removed, a summary of all hardening changes made, and a post-cleanup clean bill of health scan. Starting from $100; complex infections or multi-site clean-ups are scoped individually. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days.
